New Bucharest branch to guard against Brexit uncertainty

June 4, 2019 Wolfestone is expanding its operations by opening its first Eastern European office in the Romanian capital Bucharest. The company is committed to growing its operational base in the region in a bid to offset any negative side effects of Brexit, which could restrict trade. This means that irrespective of the uncertainties surrounding Brexit it can run operations normally, alleviating any concerns our customers may have regarding Britain’s projected withdrawal from the EU. The company has no plans to move its headquarters from Swansea, where it has been based since 2006. The Bucharest office will also increase Wolfestone’s capacity for new projects and serve as an operational base for its sister companies, RLI and VoiceBox. Bucharest-New-1024x683 While Wolfestone already provides 24-hour coverage for its clients, the new office will increase capacity at key times. Alex Parr, Wolfestone Managing Director, said: “Our new Bucharest office will help insulate the business post-Brexit, give us a base in a region that has shown significant economic progress recently and provide back-up during peak periods.” Further to overseas expansion, Wolfestone has grown significantly in the last few years, helped by the acquisition of RLI, a language and cross-cultural training company based in Twyford, England. Putting innovation at the core of its business, RLI’s courses use the latest methodologies, and its state-of-the-art online learning platform, RLI365, maximises the language learning experience for clients. With the 2014 launch of its multimedia company, VoiceBox, which specialises in subtitling, voice overs and transcription, Wolfestone is now able to offer cutting-edge language services across the spectrum. The Bucharest office will also have access to this up-to-the-minute technology. Having almost doubled turnover since acquiring RLI, Wolfestone is seeking further acquisitions in the near future as part of its growth strategy. Wolfestone’s Bucharest office is due to open in July this year.
