Wolfestone Group announces its acquisition of Germany-based translation company Pursuit Translations GmbH.

•The acquisition sees Wolfestone Group expand its portfolio to include five successful language solution companies: Wolfestone Translation, VoiceBox, RLI, City Lingual and now Pursuit Translations GmbH.

•Wolfestone Group has highlighted its continued commitment to innovation, as well as investing heavily in its team, as key factors in its growth despite a challenging global economy.

Thursday 27th May 2021: Wolfestone Group, the award-winning international language service provider with headquarters in Swansea, South Wales, today formally announces its acquisition of the well-established, Germany-based translation company, Pursuit Translations GmbH.

Pursuit Translations GmbH is a professional translation agency providing language services to businesses and organisations across Europe and the United States. With the recent opening of Wolfestone Group’s North American offices in New York, as well as offices in Targoviste and London, Pursuit Translations GmbH adds another major global presence for the Group.

The acquisition means Wolfestone Group expands its portfolio to include five companies: Wolfestone Translation, VoiceBox, RLI, City Lingual, and now Pursuit Translations GmbH, cementing the Group’s position as a truly international full-service provider of professional language solutions. Wolfestone Group’s service offerings encompass translation and localisation services, live captioning, multilingual voice overs and subtitling and global language training.

Since the acquisition of Reading-based language training provider RLI in December 2017 and London-based language training company City Lingual in January 2020, Wolfestone Group has gone from strength to strength with a further female-led deal.

Anna Bastek, co-founder, commented:

“I’ve always had a lot of faith in women and regularly encourage them to step up and take ownership. Since Wolfestone Group’s inception in 2006, we have always had more women than men on the management board, and in 2015, we took the decision to appoint Alex-Michelle Parr as the managing director of Wolfestone. She has once again smashed her goals and completed this exciting acquisition of Germany-based translation company Pursuit Translations.”

Alex-Michelle Parr, managing director of Wolfestone Group, added:

“We have always been great believers in a mixture of organic growth and acquisition as a method to grow Wolfestone Group. Pursuit is a professional translation agency already providing language services across Europe and the United States, two major regions where we have seen significant growth and plan to excel in the very near future. We believe the foundations of the business are in place, ready to implement our innovative systems and strategies in order to develop our client-focused services quickly and efficiently.’’

All of this comes during a time of major growth for Wolfestone Group. October 2020 was the second consecutive month to be named its best ever month revenue wise in over 14 years of trading, demonstrating how the Group rapidly adapted to the challenging, ever-changing conditions of the global economy.

What’s more, the universal move to a digital-first way of working since the pandemic has seen the Group go from strength to strength. Wolfestone Translation has heavily invested in cutting-edge AI technology which is set to save on time and, crucially, costs for clients, as well as hiring a new Marketing Manager and Business Development Managers to increase its reach and customer service capacity during a challenging year for many companies.

Across the rest of the Group, multimedia agency VoiceBox has seen remarkable demand for remote live captions and digital accessibility services. To meet this demand, VoiceBox has launched DrCaptions, an AI-powered automatic transcription and subtitler tool – offering a rapid, cost-effective captioning solution for businesses of all sizes.
