The Wolfestone Group, including Wolfestone, Voicebox and RLI are ecstatic to be one of only a select number of LSP’s who have achieved a compliance with the ISO 27001:2013 standard.

Having already achieved a certification of compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2015 in the past, this is a great addition to the group especially as we continue to see a rise in cyber fraud, UK councils reported “more than 700 data breaches to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) during 2020” and companies and personal data becomes increasingly important to protect and shows our continued commitment to securing our clients data.

What is ISO 27001?

ISO 27001 is a globally recognised standard helping companies in all industries, including translation services, like the Wolfestone Group, enhance, monitor and continuously improve their information security.

What this means for us

The ISO27001 standard means you can trust the Wolfestone Group with:

  • Greater protection and security of all data that we are in possession of – Access to secure data is only granted to those who need it, when they need it. Your data is totally secure with the Wolfestone Group.

  • A reputation for putting data security first – The data you share with us is not only secure, but regularly monitored and audited for security. By following the ISO 27001:2013 standard requirements we are better prepared should the risk of cyber-crime ever prevail and maximising our brands reputation.

What this means for you, our clients

Our dedication to continuously operate in line with the best standards for our clients means you’re collaborating with a sustainable and progressive company. One that puts the security of its clients first when operating in any part of the company-client relationship.

Almost half of businesses (46%) and a quarter of charities (26%) report having cyber security breaches or attacks in the last 12 months”. With cyber-attacks a common occurrence in today's marketplace, Wolfestone Group clients can rest assured that their information is protected.

Information is managed, transferred and stored accurately according to internationally recognised standards. So, you can expect enhanced security in the following areas:

  • Through the operating of our ISMS – You know that we conduct all activities detailed in our procedures and policies that are in line with international standardisation of the ISO 27001:2013. This means no second guessing our security procedures and you can rest assured that your data is protected.
  • Contingency planning – We conduct risk assessments on our business practices, follow those up with risk treatment plans, and further ensure those are regularly update and revised in-line with day-to-day changes. This means that all risks to your projects intended outcome and completion are considered mitigated.

What’s next?

Talking about the future of enhanced security at Wolfestone Group, managing director, Alex-Michelle Parr, said:

“We’re so excited to have the ISO 27001:2013. It’s a great addition to our other ISO’s and is a testament to our dedication as a company to secure our clients data and have robust processes for planning and objective settings both for ourselves and for our clients. Achieving the ISO27001 reflects our commitment to security and how we apply ourselves to standards. As one of only a few LPS’s to obtain this certification it highlights our commitment to being the best we can be for our clients”.
